
	Hello, I'm Alexandra Oliva (please, call me Ali). A writer above all else, I hold the belief that the fantasy genre has as much potential for producing respectable literary works as any other, and that fun and adventure do not have to be sacrificed in order to accomplish this. In my writing I aim to develop realistic, sympathetic characters and to explore the depths of human emotion by placing these characters in worlds that are not our own. By introducing my characters to situations that are endowed with realism yet beyond the reach of the reader's every day life, I hope to write fantasy that readers of every genre can enjoy. I also believe that everyone has lived an interesting life--provided that she emphasizes certain aspects while glossing over others. There are gems everywhere. I have accordingly been playing with my own tales, trying to get some of my history, thoughts and learning down on paper. Some of these pieces will eventually be found here as well.
