Halloween!

I like Halloween. We’re having a small party in its honor tomorrow. I’m going to wear an obvious costume this year–tavern wench. My last few costumes have required too much explaining and jabbing of elbows into sides, though I thought they were hilarious (ie: A Running Joke, Ra-PUN-zel).

On a similar note, a vine plant I have (some morning glory subset) seems to have absorbed the Halloween spirit–it’s strangling my other plants! Little vine sprouts sought out neighboring pots, climbed them, and are now curled all about the stalks and leaves of my jades. It’s pretty fantastic, but I’ll probably untangle them on Sunday. I hope it’s still possible by then….
